BFA THESIS: Welcome

THESIS PROJECT

raising awareness in the hopes of providing a better understanding of dyslexics

BFA THESIS: Text

A LITTLE ABOUT
MY THESIS PROJECT

My thesis project is a virtual installation exhibit displaying my hard work and motivation for receiving my Bachelors in Fine Arts Degree in Sculpture of Spring 2020. These 6 seven foot tall panels are plasma cut statements from myself and other people who struggle with dyslexia. The graffiti-like painted letters on the surface are created as a distraction for the viewer to struggle with reading the cut script. Struggling to read, the viewer feels how hard it is for a dyslexic person to read. The towering figures in this project represent how empowering and confident a dyslexic can become when they are assisted through their struggles.
